Vow Vault provides a digital platform that allows couples and event organizers to collect, store, manage, and share photos, videos, messages, and memories from weddings and special events through private online galleries and QR-code-enabled uploads.
2. Eligibility

- Provide accurate information during registration or purchase.
By using our services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Account Registration

Users retain ownership of content they upload.
Content includes:
- Photos

- Audio recordings

- Comments
- Event information
By uploading content, you grant Vow Vault a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:
- Store the content
- Process the content
- Display the content within your gallery
- Generate albums, slideshows, and event experiences
- Backup and secure the content
This licence ends when content is permanently deleted from our systems, subject to backup retention periods.
6. Prohibited Content
You may not upload or distribute content that:
- Violates any law
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Contains malware or malicious code
- Contains hate speech
- Promotes violence
- Contains explicit or unlawful material
- Harasses, threatens, or abuses others
- Violates another person’s privacy
We reserve the right to remove content without notice.
7. Content Ownership and Permissions
You represent and warrant that:
- You own the content you upload, or
- You have permission from the owner to upload it.
Vow Vault is not responsible for disputes regarding ownership of uploaded content.
8. Guest Uploads
Guests using QR codes or upload links:
- Remain responsible for content submitted.
- Grant the same rights outlined in these Terms.
- Confirm that they have authority to upload submitted content.
Event hosts remain responsible for managing access to their galleries.
9. Gallery Privacy
Vow Vault galleries are intended to be private.
Access may be controlled through:
- QR codes
- Unique URLs
- Password protection
- Invitation links
We cannot guarantee complete confidentiality if gallery owners share access credentials with third parties.
10. Subscription Plans and Payments
Certain services require payment.
By purchasing a plan you agree to:
- Pay applicable fees.
- Provide valid payment information.
- Authorize recurring billing where applicable.
Prices may change with reasonable notice.
Failure to make payment may result in:
- Service suspension
- Gallery restrictions
- Gallery deletion after notice periods expire
11. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of our services:
- Setup fees are non-refundable.
- Subscription fees are generally non-refundable.
- Refunds may be granted at our discretion where required by law.
Requests must be submitted in writing.
12. Storage and Retention
Each package may include specific storage limits and retention periods.
Vow Vault may:
- Archive inactive galleries
- Delete expired content
- Remove data exceeding package limits
Customers are responsible for downloading and backing up their own content where required.
13. Service Availability
We strive to maintain reliable service availability.
We do not guarantee:
- Continuous uptime
- Error-free operation
- Uninterrupted access
Maintenance, upgrades, technical failures, and external service disruptions may affect availability.
14. Intellectual Property
All Vow Vault branding, software, designs, code, logos, graphics, and website content remain the property of Vow Vault or its licensors.
You may not:
- Copy our software
- Reverse engineer our systems
- Resell our services without permission
- Use our trademarks without authorization
15. Data Protection
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including POPIA.
By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of personal information necessary to provide the services.
16. Third-Party Services
Our platform may integrate with:
- Payment providers
- Cloud storage providers

- Content delivery networks
We are not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Vow Vault shall not be liable for:

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer during the preceding twelve months.

19. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where:

You may terminate your account at any time.
Termination does not remove payment obligations incurred before termination.

Vow Vault shall not be liable for delays or failures resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including:

- Third-party service failures
21. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
